NICOLLET, Jean-Michel

(France, 1944)

Жан-Мишель Николле известен как иллюстратор фантастически[ книг.

Родился 7 февраля 1944 года в Лионе.

Учился в Школе изящных искусств в своём родном городе, где встретил Жака Тарди, с которым уезжает в парижскую школу.

Его профессиональный дебют состоялся в 1970 г., когда он начал иллюстрировать ежемесячный журнал "Луи" (Lui). Потом первые обложки для серии Фолио издательства Галлимар. Затем он присоединился к команде н-ф журнала "Métal Hurlant" в 1977 году.

Ж.-М. Николле создал множество обложек для различных издательств (Néo, Lattès и др.) и оформил несколько книг стихов: Лавкрафта, Р. Говарда и других.

Его персональная выставка прошла в галерее "Escale" в Париже в 1992 году.

Часто он работает акриловой краской, развивая темы "странного и сверхъестественного".

Ж.-М. Николле в настоящее время преподаёт в школе Эмиль Коль (Emile Cohl) в своём родном Лионе.
